What is… Summer Explosion 2011
Summer Explosion 2011 is a high-energy, fun-filled, affordable summer camp that your child will love! With a whole new layout, this year is sure to be the best yet!
Camp Excursions
More commonly known as a field trip, our Camp Excursions are sure to put a smile on your child’s face! Excursions range from bowling to rock climbing, museums to sporting events, and everything in between. With three excursions offered each week, campers are guaranteed to have big time fun! Parents can purchase Camp Excursion Bucks and give their child the freedom to choose the excursions they love. Camp Excursion Bucks are $8.00 each. Most excursions only require one Camp Excursion Buck but larger excursions such as water parks, ropes course, and boat rides require multiple Camp Excursion Bucks.
Check Your Choice
Each day campers will choose the activities they want to participate in. There are five sessions each day with four choices during each session. Activities include group games, sports, art projects, video games, movies, water play, and much more!
Morning Madness
Every day from 9:00 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. we will meet at Center Stage for a time of singing, dancing, comedy, skits, and any kind of performing you can think of. From pop music to ballet; you never know what might grace the stage at Summer Explosion.
The Big Good-Bye
Camper led or C.A.S.T. Member led; an afternoon performance that tickles your funny bone. We will end each day of camp with a good laugh!
Who are…
C.A.S.T. Members
C.A.S.T. Members are our Counselor And Summer Team Members and they are in charge of all the fun! C.A.S.T. Members plan tons of fun activities each day for your camper to choose from. All C.A.S.T. Members have experience and training.

Campers are to bring lunch and snacks daily (Unless they are purchasing snacks from the camp store). There will be a refrigerator/freezer and microwave available for campers to use.
Personal Items
Campers are not allowed to bring personal items from home. Kids At Play is not responsible for lost, stolen, or broken personal items. Any item brought in from home will be confiscated.
